When I saw Kelly's Korner was hosting a mantle party, I realized... our mantle is in desperate need of some love. Right now, there is NOT A THING on it. I redecorated our entertainment center and snagged a few items from the mantle. Hopefully we can get the mantle fixed up soon. In the meantime, I thought we could stroll down "mantle lane" and look back at the mantle over the past couple of years.
See, we don't actually have a fireplace in our house. I found this mantle
at an antique store and loved it. We have used the snot out of this!
It was first used in our bedroom, this was obviously the "moving in" stage.
We later moved into our entryway, which is where it still lives today.
My mantle needs lots of love!
This was our mantle last summer, looking good.
But still needs something better.
Here was our New Year Mantle 2011.
This was fun, but of course only temporary.
Like I said before today, the mantle has NOT A THING on it.
I am desperately searching pinterest and hoping to find great ideas.
