10 Month old Luke

Can you even believe that Luke is already 10 months old... I mean, seriously!  Where does the time go?!?

10 Month Stats:
weight: more than 19.12, but I am not exactly sure
height: 27 inches
eating: EVERYTHING, not really but he sure is eating a whole lot.  We are loving all of the Gerber snacks.  The yogurt melts and cheetoh looking chips are by far his favorites.  He just lights up when we pull some out of the bag for him.  We have tried table food here and there but as of today, he is not a huge fan.  The newest baby food Luke has tried is the Turkey & Sweet Potatoes.
talking:  definitely saying ma-ma and ba-ba.
playing/doing: speed crawling, knee walking, furniture walking, standing, closing doors, riding on toys, crawling through toys and being so stinkin' cute.
teeth: one new tooth has arrived, so we are up to 7 teeth as of today. 7 teeth, can you believe it?!?

And as usual, here is the Luke picture overload, enjoy!

Christmas 2012

Well, Christmas with a baby is very FUN and exhausting....  We enjoyed every minute with Luke.  He had a great time and loved all of his gifts so much.  We had 5 different gatherings over the past 5 days, which is how Luke snagged all of these goodies!

Needless to say, the plans for our guestroom to change over to a playroom have started.

Here is what Santa left for Luke, he was a very good boy this year!

My Niece, Haven opening her gifts.

Wow, a trike!

Precious cousins... Luke, Haven and 1 month old Kennedy

Our little fam.

While we were gone, it snowed st our house.  Luckily, we were able to get home in time to play outside.
The 4 wheeler is also from Santa and came in handy yesterday.

Now....Onto New Year's!

9 Months & Christmas Decor

Well, Luke is finally 9 months old.... these 9 months have gone by so much faster than the other 9.  Luke is ever changing these days!  It is amazing to see the differences from week to week now.  One day he was a scooter and now he is already standing.  We visited our pediatrician this week and got some stats on our little man.

weight: 19.13oz
height: 27.75"
head circ.: 44cm

She gave us the go ahead on introducing Luke to table foods, and new textures.  Taylor is way more thrilled about that than I am.  Luke is an excellent eater.  He is now eating the Stage 2 foods and loving all of the mixtures.  His (my) favorite is Pears, Bananas and Apples.  It is the perfect consistency and it tastes yummy! He is still a champion sleeper, we are so grateful.  Occasionally he will wake once or twice in the night but will get right back to sleep after a 3 or 4 ounce bottle.

I am having the time of my life planning his 1st birthday party.  See my board on pinterest here.

Here are a few pics for month 9

Luke is finally out of his infant carrier... I could not lug that thing around anymore.

Here he is, on his 9 month birthday!

We have also started putting up some Christmas Decorations.  I definitely do not have the time that I used to have, so it is more plain this year than in years past.

Please disregard the messy room...  We do live!

8 Months, A Baby Shower & Halloween

Get ready for picture overload.

Our sweet Luke is now 8 months old and 1 week... meaning less than 4 months to play THE ultimate 1st birthday party!  My brother and sister in law have a baby girl on the way.  A couple of weeks ago we had a shower, it was fun doing all of the pink girly stuff.  Then Luke turned 8 months old, so naturally we had a photo shoot & finally, Halloween came.  Luke was one cute dinosaur.  ENJOY!

Luke went to his first Texas Tech game & tailgate.  It was a blast... he loved every minute!

Yummy dessert table at the shower.

The food set up was beautiful.  My mom's friend did all of the cooking and every recipe came from Pinterest.  It was all so delicious.

This was a tidbit of the menu... the food was to die for!

The guestbook was a Collection of "Princess" Stories including Snow White, Cinderella and Belle.  The first message came from the Big Sister, her duty at the shower was to remind everyone to sign the book.  She did a great job!

Her other job was to get the guests to make a bow for the baby.  We bought all of the supplies at Hobby Lobby, mostly in the scrapbook section.  The bows turned out great.  I didn't get a picture of them all at the end, but they were cute!!

Now onto our main attraction.... Luke

look at all of those teeth?!?

8 Month Stats:

weighing in at 19 pounds.
eating fruits and veggies our newest addition is squash and he loves it.
pulling up on any and everything in sight.
wearing 6-9 clothing and 12 month pj's.
still an excellent sleeper for the most part, occasionally waking up 1 or 2 times a night.
still just scooting at a rapid rate, not really crawling on all 4's.
SO far, month 8 has been great.  Now we are just patiently waiting on the arrival of Luke's cousin, Kennedy!

Luke is 7 months old

7 months... 6 teeth....and 18 pounds later!
I cannot believe our baby boy is now 7 months old.
The time has flown by.

There have been a few changes for Luke.  He started crawling (kind of).  I know that will pace will pick up rapidly.  He went from 2 teeth at our 6 month update to 6!  He has been busy teething, but he has not be fussy or grumpy whatsoever.  Luke is now sitting up completely on his own.  He has also become an excellent napper.  He is taking about an hour nap 2 or 3 times a day.  Luke started eating squash & sweet potatoes this past month.   His menu is growing and so far his absolute favorite has been prunes.  Needless to say, the babysitter and we did not appreciate the week of prune eating.

Stats:
6 teeth
18 pounds
about 28"
and as handsome as can be

Luke has been very busy...

Over the past month a lot has changed for the Anderson family!

Mommy went back to work after a GREAT summer, Luke started daycare (in home care), Luke turned 6 months old & he was baptized!  We have been very busy....  Here is a picture recap.

6 Month Stats:

Weight: 16.7 lbs
Height: 26.75"
Head Circumference:  43.5 cm

Luke has two teeth and the third is well on its way!
He is rolling all over the place and babbling so much.
He is sitting for very short periods of time on his own, but
sits great with support. Luke is a great sleeper... 8p-6:30a
 no.matter.what.
He is eating apples, pears, bananas, peaches, carrots, prunes and
will start sweet potatoes this week.

This month Luke had his first fever (100.5).
But that was most likely his tooth...
We are looking forward to month 7!

Luke with his Godparents, Courtney & Matt.  We love them so much.
