Texas Style Wedding Shower

A couple of weeks ago, I helped my Mom host a shower for a great childhood friend of mine. Here are some of the details...

The color scheme was browns and creams. This was so much fun to do with my Mom. It fell on Spring Break, and I was off work so I was able to spend the entire with my parents and work on the shower details. A few of my favorite things were:

Mason Jars as vases

Monogrammed W's on the jars

Burlap Centerpiece decor

The Moss "W" on the cake table *More on this to come soon*

Here is a little tablescape image...

Moss W-- Ballard inspired! I will be posting a tutorial on this project this week!

The W's on the jars were made with my handy dandy Cricut machine. I cut 3'' letters from brown vinyl and stuck them right on the jars. I liked the personal touch it added for the couple!

The invitations were a great hit! I ordered them from Minted.com.

They were so classy and set the standards for the shower. The "Texas Style" was great. Everyone wore boots and hats-- I loved it!

Spurs optional... so cute!

Have you hosted a wedding shower before??? Post a comment with a link to your own post about a wedding shower. I would love to see what you have done!
